Long-Term Care
Lambton County's not-for-profit Long-Term Care Homes have been providing comfort, quality and security to the County's rural and urban residents for more than 45 years. The County of Lambton operates three long-term care homes:
Lambton Meadowview Villa (LMV) - a 125-bed Home located at 3958 Petrolia Line on the westerly limits of the town of Petrolia.
Marshall Gowland Manor (MGM) - a 126-bed Home located at 749 Devine Street in Sarnia. Residents moved into this newly constructed Home on January 31, and February 1, 2004. A Grand Opening celebration and Ribbon Cutting ceremony took place on May 14, 2004 with over 300 friends and neighbours in attendance, as well as the family of Dr. Marshall Gowland.
North Lambton Lodge (NLL) - an 88-bed Home located at 39 Morris Street in Forest. Residents celebrated the completion of their newly renovated Home on Friday, October 27, 2006 with hundreds of friends and neighbours in attendance. A motion from County Council on May 2, 2007, at the request of the Home's Resident Council, changed the name of the Home from North Lambton Rest Home to the current North Lambton Lodge.
