Little Friends Child & Family Development Centre
Little Friends Child and Family Development Centre and Best Start Hub provides full day licensed child care services for children three months to six years. Recently opened in February, 2009, the Centre focuses on aboriginal culture and traditions within an early learning framework. The YMCA Child Development Centre, in partnership with the Sarnia-Lambton Native Friendship Centre operates the Centre, which is owned by The Corporation of the County of Lambton. The Centre is open from 7 am-6pm daily.
Little Friends is also home to Lambton’s Newest Best Start Hub. The Sarnia-Lambton OEYC will provide family drop-in programs on Monday and Thursday mornings, 9:30-12:00. Public health, speech and language services and parenting programs will be available during drop-in hours. Monthly family focused activities will be offered in collaboration with the Sarnia-Lambton Native Friendship Centre.
