Motor Coach Tours

Moore Museum is pleased to offer a variety of packages designed exclusively for motor coach groups. We offer your customers a chance to explore the beauty and heritage of small-town Ontario.

"Follow The Current To The Past"

Delight in the sparkle of the blue waters of the St. Clair River as you enjoy a two-hour cruise aboard the Duc D’Orleans II. Savor a delicious cold-cut and salad buffet lunch aboard ship. Marvel at the majestic size of the freighters as they pass by so close you may see their crews at work. Experience the heritage of small-town Southwestern Ontario as you explore the eleven exhibit buildings of Moore Museum.

Demonstrations of seasonal activities, with tasty samples, bring the work of the past to life. Treat your senses to the sights and fragrances of Germain Gardens on a guided tour. Enjoy a muffin and coffee at the neighboring Strangway Centre.

Take a nostalgic excursion on the shore of the sparkling St. Clair River. Savor the old-time pleasures of a home-cooked picnic -- a leisurely lunch served buffet-style beside the river, with toe-tapping music to accompany your meal.

Recall the tastes and tasks of days gone by, as costumed staff demonstrate skills of the past, including the intriguing sight of candles being hand-dipped over an open fire and the delicious taste of butter fresh from the churn. A coffee break with a delightful scone served warm from the wood stove is also included.
