A New Public Art Gallery is Coming to Lambton County
On Wednesday, January 20, 2010 Lambton County Council approved the design and construction of a new public art gallery at the corner of Christina and Lochiel streets in downtown Sarnia. Community Information Meeting
A Community Information Meeting was held on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 7pm at the Sarnia Library Theatre (124 Christina Street South, Sarnia) concerning Lambton County's new public art gallery.
At the meeting, a panel of team members provided a presentation updating those in attendance on the progress of the project to date. Those team members were also be available for a question and answer period.

Gallery Lambton to Become the Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery
On Wednesday, December 8, 2010 Warden Steve Arnold, along with Honourary Chair Jim Burns, announced that Judith & Norman Alix had made a generous $1.5 million gift to the new Art Gallery of Lambton, and that upon its opening, it will be named the Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery.
