Sarnia, ON – A FREE child car seat workshop will be held Saturday, January 30 at 10 a.m. at LaSalle Auto Centre, 214 LaSalle Rd., Sarnia.
The workshop includes a brief presentation and demonstration followed by a car seat inspection. To be eligible for a car seat inspection, parents and caregivers must attend the workshop.
"The workshop will teach parents and caregivers to properly install their child’s car seat," says Kelley Elliott, Health Promotion Officer with the County of Lambton Community Health Services Department. “Parents and caregivers who attend a car seat workshop are more confident and more competent when installing their child’s car seat."
The event is sponsored by the County of Lambton Community Health Services Department, Lambton OPP, North Lambton Community Health Centre, Sarnia Police Services, Sarnia Fire and Rescue Services, LaSalle Auto Centre and the Ontario Ministry of Transportation.
