Wyoming, ON – Get your summer reading materials at bargain prices with Lambton County Library's wide selection of discarded books. Library Headquarters will be having a used book fair on Saturday, July 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. With a small donation, books, encyclopedias and other items are available for purchase. Library Headquarters is located on 787 Broadway St., Wyoming, behind Lambton County's Administration Building.
Books at the fair are recent discards from the collections of Lambton County Library's 26 branches. In order to keep the library's collection current with popular materials, discarding takes place to remove damaged, outdated and non-circulating materials. The fair also includes donated books which don't meet the needs of the collection, but are often in excellent and new condition.
A donation of $.50 cents per children's book and $1.00 per adult book is suggested. Proceeds from the book fair are used to enhance the library system. For more information, please call 519 845-3324.
