North Lambton Outreach
North Lambton Outreach (NLO) is located in the Town of Forest at North Lambton Lodge and serves people living in north and east Lambton who are experiencing disability and/or early stage dementia that puts them at risk for institutionalization.
People affected with disabilities of aging and/or early dementia can feel a sense of isolation and low self esteem.
The Outreach program assists people in maintaining their sense of accomplishment and self worth and reducing isolation by providing fun therapeutic activities away from home. The program offers a variety of activities in a unique custom designed area created to provide support and enjoyment to participants. Whether you enjoy crafts, gardening, music, baking, exercise or outings, a unique program will be designed especially for you. Bathing, in a therapeutic tub, can be arranged.
Assistance is provided for people who require support with meals, medication, mobility and washrooms.
