Planning & Development Services

The Planning and Development Services Department prepares and maintains the Official Plan for the County of Lambton and provides Consent, Subdivision, Municipal Official Plan and Woodlot approvals. The Department also works closely with local municipalities preparing Official Plans and Zoning By-laws; providing comprehensive, ongoing planning advisory services to municipal clerks, councils, and residents; and providing advisory services to municipal consent granting authorities.

Emergency disaster planning and maintenance of the County's 9-1-1 system reside with this Department as well.
