Child Care Spaces

As a result of the Best Start Program, 754 new licensed child care spaces for children 0 to 6 have opened throughout Lambton County.  To ensure child care is more accessible for families, the majority of these new child care spaces are located in elementary schools. These optimally located child care spaces provide quality care for children in a variety of age groups including junior and senior kindergarten aged children when they are not attending school.

Junior and senior Wrap Spaces - space for JK/SK children when they are not attending school - are located at schools listed below.  A 'wrap space' is an extension of the school day for JK/SK children either before and after school and/or on days when not in attendance.
