Where was the last Toll House in Ontario located?
The Plank Road, made of wood planks and built in 1860 to move oil from the Oil Heritage District to Sarnia, was the last road in Ontario still operating as a toll road in 1926. Beginning in 1998, Highway 407 north of Toronto reintroduced toll roads in Ontario.
