School Programs

New this year at the Wallaceburg and District Museum is the Discovery Box Program: "Hard Work at Home"

Timeframe: 1 ½ - 2 hours program. Grades two to six.

Booking: Mornings between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Afternoons between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Cost: $80.00

This exciting discovery activity is brought right to your classroom. Students experience the details of early Canadian life through the exploration of objects, participation in pioneer skills and the creation of crafts.

Included with this program is a special teacher’s EduKit providing additional classroom or home discovery activities.

From April 7th to the 24th coinciding with the annual Quilt Show, we will be conducting brand new children’s programming. Kids will learn about quilts, were they come from, who made them, the history of quilting and a whole lot more. This interactive program is sure to amuse and educate junior quilt enthusiasts from all over Chatham-Kent!
